Initially people used to smile at me or say "you're brave!”. Somebody even commented, "well Oronce, you really are an artist!". The EQUIVINUM workshop has regular orders for work, and more than ever, I believe in the horse-drawn plows that I produce. From my small workshop in the Burgundy region, I practically equip all new vineyards that use horse-drawn farming methods. Year after year, my intuition told me that animal traction had a future ahead of it, which is why I created new tools that I adapted as closely as possible to the demands of new generations of winemakers. With an ever increasing respect for its magnificent terroirs and a desire to maintain Earth’s harmony, the world of wine that EQUIVINUM has become part of since 2006, has a promising and fertile future ahead of it.

Both now and in the coming years, a new dream can come true. Winegrowers who rely on animal traction methods need the help of a new player who can innovate and distribute these fine French tools in European vineyards, protect such industrial expertise and inform all wineries about the positive environmental impact!
